Doctoral Training is the **set of educational and research activities and experiences that the doctoral candidate must acquire and develop to obtain the title of Doctor** in a process that goes beyond the mere elaboration of the doctoral thesis. It involves acquiring a series of competencies and skills that enable the doctoral candidate for autonomous research in the field of R&D&i, as well as for the generation, management, and transfer of knowledge. Doctoral training is the comprehensive development path of a researcher, encompassing pure research, the acquisition of transversal skills, and immersion in the scientific community, all of which is supervised to guarantee the quality and excellence of the doctoral thesis.
EIDUS, in general, and doctoral programs develop doctoral training activities, which include both **transversal training** and **specific training**, within the scope of each program, as well as mobility activities.
