- Outside these periods, admission and/or enrolment applications may be accepted in cases where exceptional circumstances apply, including:
- Students who are beneficiaries of predoctoral or equivalent contracts funded through competitive calls in accordance with Law 14/2011, of 1 June, on Science, Technology and Innovation
- Students subject to specific international joint supervision agreements for doctoral theses
- Students subject to specific industrial doctorate agreements which, in either case, require access to a doctoral programme, provided that applicants meet the access requirements established in the current regulations.
Other exceptional circumstances must be approved by the Executive Committee of the International Doctoral School of the University of Seville (EIDUS), following a report by the academic committee of the doctoral programme. The admission of these applications will not reduce the available places nor affect those already allocated.

An early admission and enrolment period is established from Wednesday 3 September 2025 (inclusive), intended for newly admitted students who must prove formal enrolment in academic supervision of the doctoral thesis as evidence of their status as doctoral students, provided that this is an essential requirement for acceptance of a predoctoral or equivalent contract funded through competitive calls in accordance with Law 14/2011, of 1 June, on Science, Technology and Innovation, and provided that applicants meet the access requirements established in the current regulations.

1. In accordance with Article 37.3 of the Doctoral Studies Regulations (BOUS No. 2/2020 of 24 February), outside these periods admission and/or enrolment applications may be accepted in cases where exceptional circumstances apply, including:
