This Thursday, March 7th, at 2.30pm Central European Time IMFAHE is opening the Quarter Course on Careers in Science with the session "Mental Health and PhD Students". We are privileged to have Dr. Zachary F. Murguía Burton as speaker. Dr. Burton is a committed advocate for mental health, recognized internationally with numerous awards for his contributions to the field. He founded The Manic Monologues to disrupt the stigma surrounding mental illness. He collaborates with the World Health Organization on mental health projects. He spreads awareness on mental illness through keynote talks at leading organizations such as TedX, Yale, Princeton, Harvard or The World Bank and through articles published in top scientific journals such as Nature or Cell. Dr. Burton earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University and he suffered firsthand from mental illness.
